Since the mid 1980’s I have been producing museum standard hand painted copies of fine oil paintings. They can be original size or reduced in scale to suit.
All the materials used – canvas or panel, mediums, paint, stretchers and frames – are of the finest quality.
Given the original painting – or failing that ,a really good quality photograph – I can “read” how it was built up and copy it from scratch.
There are no short cuts or artificial processes used.
Most of my clients have commissioned me more than once.
In recent years I have been lucky enough to copy from the orginal work by some of the finest 19th century equestrian and
portrait painters; I have worked at Burleigh House,Nanteos Mansion and from numerous other important collections in the UK.
Other clients include the National Trust the Carluccios and Kronospan.
